Team Statement “time to say good bye”

Dear Sponsor, Friends and Fans,

In order to realize my dream to become an owner of a Rally Raid Racing Team, I applied for a team licences in the national Spanish TT Championship as well as the FIA Cross Country and Baja Championship in 2003. Since then, we have participated in the championship for years as the EUROPEAN PRO RAID RACING TEAM, but regretfully I have to  inform you that the team will be ceasing its racing activities as of today and it’s time for me to say good bye.

The team has competed against the many car manufacturer backed teams as well as many private teams and has succeeded in obtaining the points in the national and international championship. However, the constant lack of sufficient sponsorship support over the last years resulted in the loss of financial backing and immediately put the team into financial difficulties. Also, the change in direction of the international set-up of championships, has affected our ability to find partners.

Meanwhile, with the help of partners as Mayr Tuning and Road Ranger, we have somehow managed to keep the team going, but we find it difficult to establish a way to continue the activities in the future within the environment surrounding and as a result, I have concluded to withdraw from the Rally Raid Circus.

I would like to express my deepest thanks to my partners, the sponsors, all the people who have given us advise during various situations over the past couple of years, all the Team Staff who have kept their motivations high and always done their best, Elias Trujillo who has always pushed to the limit despite the very difficult conditions, Javier Viera who has been with us from the very start and has always fought hard and support the team and lastly our fans from all over the world who have loyally supported the EUROPEAN PRO RAID RACING TEAM.
